The Green Bay Police Department is seeking a Communications Coordinator!  This is an exciting new opportunity to play an important role in GBPD's comprehensive strategic communications program in support of the department’s mission, goals, and objectives.  This position will oversee the messaging of community priorities and GBPD programs using various communication strategies, including traditional communications and social media.

Hiring Range: $62,878-$68,244

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., plus additional hours as needed, including availability for call-in's outside of normal hours.

Flexible schedule within a set of core hours and the ability to work remotely for a portion of the workweek available!

No residency requirement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
  • Minimum of four years related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
  • Must have acceptable personal and professional history as determined by successfully completing a background investigation.
