Position Summary
The Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving worldwide revenue growth, building high-performing, collaborative teams, and elevating the Leatherman brand across global markets. This is a strategic and hands-on executive role for a results-oriented leader with a proven record of developing and executing global sales and marketing strategies that expand market presence, strengthen customer engagement, and deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales and marketing strategy aligned with Leatherman’s mission and growth objectives. Team Development: Build and empower a high-performing, diverse sales and marketing organization that fosters innovation and accountability. Revenue Growth: Lead execution to achieve ambitious revenue and market share goals in both established and emerging markets. Brand Management: Elevate the Leatherman brand through innovative campaigns, partnerships, and digital initiatives ensuring global consistency. Customer Engagement: Strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers while championing a customer-first mindset. Market Insights: Leverage global market trends and analytics to identify opportunities and guide business decisions. Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Finance to align commercial strategy and drive performance. Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgets, ensuring smart investments and measurable ROI.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive global leadership in sales and marketing, ideally in consumer goods, outdoor, or hardware industries.
Proven success leading international teams and executing strategies that deliver measurable growth.
Strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with digital marketing, e-commerce, and omnichannel growth.
Must reside within daily driving distance of Portland, Oregon headquarters.
