The Workplace Conferencing Services (WCS) Communications & Hypercare Lead is responsible for creating and communicating a compelling vision of how BMS employees can effectively leverage built spaces within the BMS Workplace on a global scale in a manner that generates excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment across the organization.

This position will report to the Director, WorkPlace Conferencing Services and will work to ensure that BMS users are sufficiently trained and have the information necessary to understand and utilize meeting room system components as well as the WorkPlace neighborhood at large. Will maintain responsibility for the development and delivery of adoption programs for new residents moving into revamped WorkpPlace neighborhoods. Meets with users to provide in-person and virtual training as part of the overall adoption / outreach program and creates in-room quick-reference guides and training materials. Utilizes internal collaboration resources (e.g., myBMS, BMS ServiceNow, Yammer, exec admin community) to promote user awareness of all WCS services.

Maintains responsibility for the management of the WCS SharePoint site (wcs.bms.com) which serves as the centralized hub for meeting room knowledge information and training collateral. Develops, monitors, & manages content on the site to promote all WCS Services and standard meeting room offerings. Creates service descriptions, FAQs, how-to documents, quick-reference guides, etc. Grants and removes access to groups ensuring sensitive data is secure.  Develops / hosts internal content and knowledge documents for the benefit of the on-site AV support team.

Works with On-Site Pro AV Supplier to offer training on new & emerging meeting room technologies and capabilities. Creates detailed technical training materials to ensure rooms are properly supported by Supplier On-site Pro AV staff. Hosts in-person and virtual training as part of the overall Pro AV training program.

Collaborates with regional and local operational managers across global sites and organizations (Facilities, IT, WorkPlace, Corporate Communications, etc.) to share best practices and work toward common goals and service strategies. Works with diverse internal and external teams to resolve problems.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

·         Designation as a CTS highly recommended

·         Bachelor’s Degree a plus

·         Deep understanding of meeting room AV technologies and collaboration platforms

·         SharePoint development experience

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to write captivating content

·         Ability to work with all levels of the organization

·         Experience developing a customer care philosophy that ensures customer satisfaction

·         Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation and superior organizational / time management skills

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office collaboration applications

·         Ability to learn new AV / IT systems / applications and train others on their use

·         A minimum of 5 years of experience within the corporate AV or communications industry

·         This role will not have any direct reports; however, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple, conflicting priorities in a rapidly evolving, fast paced, complex environment
