Miles & Stockbridge P.C. is seeking a Communications Manager. This position will be located in the Baltimore office and be a part of the firm’s Business Development and Marketing department. The Business Development and Marketing department works alongside firm leadership, practice group leaders, partners and other senior-level firm stakeholders to develop, implement and execute an innovative marketing and BD strategy. They support the growth and retention of existing client relationships, discover and develop relationships with new clients, maintain and build the Miles & Stockbridge brand and drive awareness and favorability of our niche practice experience in the market.
Requirements
Under the supervision of the Director of Communications & Public Relations, the Communications Manager’s primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Journalism, or related field and have 5-10 years of experience in a professional services firm, B2B marketing agency, or equivalent. Prior law firm experience is highly preferred. Experience with B2B Messaging on Social Media platforms and other large-scale marketing technologies and systems is also preferred.
This Communications Manager opportunity is an ideal role for a candidate who is a creative and effective communicator with strong business acumen. The position requires exceptional research, writing and editing skills; a proven ability for storytelling and strategic messaging; a knack for project management; and an interest in working with sophisticated legal and business content.
