Congressional Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Oakton, VA, seeks to hire a Director of Marketing and Communications. Congressional Federal provides financial services to the House of Representatives and Capitol Hill. Company History
Congressional Federal Credit Union History – A Proud Past, A Bright Future.
On July 9, 1953, eight congressional employees, with just $40 in deposits, formed the credit union that would later become Congressional Federal. From its humble beginnings in the Longworth HOB, Congressional Federal has grown its members to over 45,000.
In 2013 Congressional Federal's 60th anniversary reminded us of just how far we’ve come with the help of loyal members, dedicated volunteers and hard-working staff. From a single desk drawer to a modern, full-service institution, Congressional Federal today offers financial services that its founders only dreamed were possible. Online and mobile banking, shared branches, nationwide ATM networks, mortgages and home equity loans, financial investments, insurance and credit cards— these are but a few of the products and services that we’ve added since 1953.
Through the years, Congressional Federal has remained true to its proud beginnings, always endeavoring to serve its members with integrity and striving to give back to the Capitol Hill community that makes it all possible.
