Wipfli LLP began in 1930 when Wisconsin native Clarence Wipfli opened an accounting practice in Wausau, Wis., where the firm's headquarters stand to this day. Through a strategic M&A and client acquisition strategy, we've grown to a top 20 accounting and consulting firm with more than 100,000 clients and 3,000 associates. We have offices in India and the Philippines.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
We are a top 20 accounting and consulting firm with more than 100,000 clients across the United States and 48 offices, which have won numerous state and regional Best Places To Work awards. Our marketing team has won numerous Hermes and MarCom awards and our client-facing teams have won numerous awards from partners like Microsoft and Sage.
Benefits
Wipfli places high-importance on mental and physical health.
Wipfli offers flexible time off. Unlike most firms, that doesn't mean no time off. All performance coaches are alerted when an associate hasn't taken time off in 90 days so we can work together to schedule time to ensure the associate takes the time to restore and relax. The firm has added extra shutdown days to our calendar to ensure we're unplugging. We've instituted a meeting-ban on Wednesdays so there's focus time.
They also offer numerous mental health and physical health benefits and programs.
We offer all the normal Insurances (health, dental, vision, FSA and HSA) and retirement benefits. A nice perk is financial advisory services through Wipfli Financial Advisors. The firm is very generous in sharing the rewards of good performance through annual bonuses, plus some surprise mid-year ones when performance is great.
The firm invests heavily in career development through internal, external training benefits, internal learning festivals, LinkedIn Learning account and tuition reimbursement.
